If you are looking for something meaningful to do with your time, consider volunteering at Stable Life. The organization, participants and horses will benefit greatly from your experience and mentorship.
Volunteering is easy! Whether you can come out once a week, once a month or once a year, the gift of your time will have an impact on the people we serve. Whatever your passion or trade, find out how your unique skills can help us continue to help others.
We are a charity organization and volunteer services provided can be tax deductible for an In Kind Service donation!

Our biggest need for additional volunteers is in our equine program. Whether you are a seasoned equestrian or are new to horses, a mental health professional or a peer supporter, there are many ways you can help!
We need more adults to supervise ABLE Team activities on the farm including trail clean up, maintenance projects, social center, camp nights, and equine groundwork, exercise and riding times.
We also need chaperones to come with us on field trips such as the Midwest Horsefair, ACTHA rides, local shows and fundraising events.
We value our partnerships with professionals within the mental health and addiction fields such as Peer Specialists, Peer Supporters, Recovery Coaches, Social Workers, Psychologists, Occupational Therapists and Assistants or other professionals. Download our flyer!
We also enjoy collaborating with Equine Professionals, Natural Horsemanship Trainers, Veterinarians, Vet Techs, Farriers and the like! Check out the benefits of partnering with Stable Life!
Check out our upcoming equine volunteer trainings, husbandry and educational clinics, field trips, fund raising events, and other ways you can get involved on our Facebook Events Page!
Volunteering at Stable Life can count toward service learning hours in high school or college, service hours for church or youth groups, or community support from community organizations and corporate service groups.
We also work with people who are required to complete community service hours for offenses.
