Stable Life, Inc. is a 501(c)3 public charity organization.  Donations of
money and property are tax deductible.  Download our
certificate of
exemption.

We need to continuously obtain scholarship funding in order to provide
services at free or reduced costs to individuals who are less fortunate.  
Your donation of $350 allows one person to participate in a 10 week
equine therapy session.  Donations of any amount are greatly
appreciated for scholarships.


For our Social Center:

  • Pizza Oven
  • CD's, Cassette Tapes, DVD's or VHS tapes - must be
    educational or family friendly, may not contain parental advisory
    or explicit lyrics
  • Pool cues, chalk, pool table accessories
  • Karaoke CD's

We would appreciate books about any of the following subjects to add
to our resource area:
  • Spiritual
  • Inspirational
  • Equine / Horses / Horsemanship
  • Magazines or Magazine articles relating to mental illness,
    recovery, or horses.

We are also looking for any information, brochures, and websites
regarding mental health that we can pass onto our participants via the
Resource Center or this website.


For our Equine Facility:

  • Riding boots - child through adult, any size, any style.  Proper
    footwear is very important when working with horses and some
    of our participants may not be able to afford their own footwear.
  • Riding helmets - any size, any style, must be certified
  • Saddles - any style, child through adult
  • Other horse tack such as surcingles, bridles, lead ropes, lunge
    ropes, brushes, combs, etc.
  • Fence posts, wood, fence supplies
  • Little Tikes (or similar) basket ball hoop, and a Tic Tac Toe
    beanie toss game for equine therapy games.
  • We are also accepting additional horses.  If you have a horse
    that is well mannered, calm and trained that you would like to
    donate to our program, please contact Joann at 608-296-4634,

For our Programs - We need Volunteers!

  • We need persons with electrical experience and persons with
    plumbing experience to help with a few projects in the Social
    Center.
  • We will be recruiting equine volunteers on an ongoing basis.  If
    you're interested, please contact us.  
  • We also need volunteers to staff the Social Center and office.
