Rocko was donated by Beth and Tom
Bradley in September of 2011. He is a
gorgeous bay thoroughbred with the
thickest, waviest tail you've seen! He
is about the most sensitive horse I've
ever met. He wears his heart on his
sleeve and people feel very connected
to him right away.
Rock has been used more days than
not since he arrived at Stable Life. He
is a been there, done that kind of guy.
He has a beautiful floaty trot and his
canter is amazing!
The Rock moved to Wisconsin from
Texas a few years ago, so he's still
getting used to our cold winters. He
was trained to be a working cattle
horse on a ranch by Mexican trainers.
Apparently it is common for them to
train their horses to stretch their legs
out front and back in order to lower
their backs so riders can mount and
dismount easier. It is a trick that
everyone wishes all the horses can do!
