Jazz is an 8 year old thoroughbred
gelding. He is a large horse, at over
16hh and has a very stately presence.
He and Eddie could be twins if they
were the same color!
We received Jazz, along with Les just
before Thanksgiving of 2007 from the
American Standardbred Adoption
Program (ASAP).
Update 4/08: We think Jazz may have
been misunderstood in his previous
homes. His size can be intimidating to
people who don't have strong
horsemanship skills. We've had the
opportunity to get him under saddle in
the round pen and on the trail. Jazz is
proving to be an absolute gentleman
and is very well trained. He is an
amazing animal to ride. His personality
is a huge bonus! He is one of the
biggest clowns we've ever
encountered and is in your face
