Lamborghini Diablo, (barn name DeeDee)
was donated by Janis Albrecht in July of
2011.  She is a little morab mare that is
perfect size for our smaller riders and
riders who are leery of our big horses.

DeeDee is a huge cuddler.  She is like a
large puppy dog that loves to be right on
her people.  I think if she could fit into
someone's lap she'd be in heaven!  The
kids think her small size is perfect to hang
over her back and snuggle.

She was purchased as a 10 month old
and before coming to Stable Life lived
without the company of other horses.
When we first brought her here we
thought she was going to be very
aggressive with the horses, but it turned
out she was just extremely frightened.  It
took us two months to integrate her into
the herd and throughout the process we
buddied her up individually with each
horse so she could have time to establish
a relationship with them in a controlled
environment.

Her favorite buddy is Jazz and she hangs
out with him all the time.  She also really
likes Danny because he is always trying to
protect her.  If she feels anxious around
one of the more dominant horses she runs
by Jazz or Danny.  She is starting to
understand the comfort and protection in
the herd and her demeanor has improved
immensely.

She will be ready for the program in the
spring of 2012.
